Cette séance, orga­nisée par Flore Gubert (IRD), sera dédiée à la présen­ta­tion de l’article « Tempo­rary migra­tion response to climate varia­bi­lity. New evidence from three years of mobile phone data in Senegal » par Paul Blan­chard. Paul est docto­rant à Trinity College Dublin. Il vient tout juste de déposer sa thèse.

La séance sera discutée par Frédéric Docquier. Frédéric Docquier est respon­sable de programme de recherche ‘Cros­sing Borders’ au Luxem­bourg Insti­tute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) depuis 2019. Il est égale­ment profes­seur affilié à l’Uni­ver­sité du Luxem­bourg où il coor­donne le programme de forma­tion docto­rale ACROSS, et membre de l’Institut grand-ducal de Luxembourg.

During this session, orga­nized by Flore Gubert (IRD), Paul Blan­chard will present the paper “Tempo­rary migra­tion response to climate varia­bi­lity. New evidence from three years of mobile phone data in Senegal.” Paul is a Ph.D. candi­date at Trinity College Dublin. He has just submitted his thesis.

The paper will be discussed by Frédéric Docquier. Frédéric has been acting as a Research Program Leader (on Cros­sing Borders) at the Luxem­bourg Insti­tute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) since 2019. He is also Affi­liate Professor at the Univer­sity of Luxem­bourg where he is coor­di­na­ting the ACROSS doctoral trai­ning unit, and member of the Institut grand-ducal de Luxembourg.
